At Dynamix, working with the North American water treatment industry is a big part of what we do, providing mixers for various applications in the water treatment process. In many installations, a custom solution is required. One such project was with the City of Anamosa’s water treatment plant and their need to upgrade their current mixers in their process.
Looking for a new mixer with the goal to find a more durable and 
efficient mixer, the water plant superintendent Jim (Henson) was tasked with. After doing an extensive search online for a solution, he was fortunate to find Dynamix, “…I was very lucky when I was searching on line and decided to call Dynamix and after talking to the sales representative I felt very confident in my purchase” says Henson.
Putting science into the chaos of the mixing process comes easy for Dynamix. When fitting the appropriate mixer to the unique application needs of clients, Henson warns with some humour: “Be prepared Dynamix put a lot of science into my processes which included sizing of tanks, viscosity of chemical, measuring of tanks, and many pictures to insure proper application was achieved.”
The effectiveness of performance of a mixer is a prime concern when considering a new mixer purchase. The Dynamix mixer performance stated below puts big smiles on our engineers faces. Here’s a few comments from Henson: “I use two chemicals that are mixed together (H.M.O.) which is injected into vertical filters to reduce natural radium that comes from ground water. The chemical has to be mixed 24 hrs a day. Prior to these mixers I had good reduction but after using Dynamix I have been getting non detects on my testing.”
Reliability and longevity of the products are two things you hope for when purchasing a custom high end mixer, Henson feels he’s found that in the Dynamix mixers: “I have three mixers in process and I think it has been around four years when I started using Dynamix and my original mixers are still running perfectly when the other mixers would not last more than one month “
